The Devonport Historical and Museum Society, which runs the Devonport Museum, is funded through a mix of council grants, community donations and the occasional philanthropic bequest.

Volunteer

Devonport Museum relies on the incredible support of a dedicated team of volunteers.

The volunteers help with tasks like: accession items in the collection on to the computer database, upgrading the current displays, spring cleaning of the museum, and staffing the museum on a roster basis
